October 2020 Update

As a Libra I live for the month, the fall season, and for anything that has pumpkin spice in it. The approaching cool days keep beckoning me to curl up with a blanket, hot cocoa, and book near a crackling fireplace, and though I do love a good day in, the days I can spend outdoors painting are quickly dwindling. I am preparing for my first New England winter and it has been mentioned to me that is gets both extremely cold and wet. Sounds like I will spend much time inside soon whether I like it or not. For now, I am trying to be outside as much as possible soaking up nature and the gorgeous fall foliage. Don't be surprised if you see me on one of the local hiking trails.

Keep creating.

Five of my pieces are featured in the J. Mane Gallery Fins, Feathers & Fur Online Juried Arts Show (currently on view until October 29). Below is a blurb about the show.

"J. Mane Gallery is pleased to present its 2nd Annual Fins, Feathers & Fur International Online Juried Art Exhibition.

Animals have been a source of inspiration for many artists. From art about rural life and growth, to myths and legends, animals are used in art in many different ways. Art can help us explore our relationship to wildlife and can help us think about how we care for animals and the environment."

Three of my works are being shown in the group online exhibition with the Hosmer Gallery located in the Forbes Library of Northampton, MA. This is a community exhibit that will remain online until the library building is re-opened.

This holiday season I am offering twelve 12"x12" landscape paintings for sale. The catch is they won't be revealed until, you guessed it, the individual twelve days of Christmas!

Starting December 1, 2020 the paintings will be revealed online at 9am EST one-by-one over a twelve day span. The last work will be revealed on December 12. All paintings are oil on canvas and are framed in solver metal floater frames. Prices include shipping, and all are guaranteed to arrive in time for the holidays.

Each work will be shared on my instagram and facebook, and a time-lapse video of me painting the piece will be available on my youtube channel.

I still have a handful of openings for Christmas Commissions. If you are interested in commissioning a painting for a loved one, please contact me soon. As oil paint takes some time to dry, there are only a couple weeks left to place the order to ensure it will be shipped and at your home in time for Christmas Day! Last day to place an order for a custom commission is on October 31, 2020.

Feel free to contact me to get the conversation started.
