November 2020 Update

Updated: Nov 5

Winter has come! Halloween was marked with snow across the state. All of the sweaters, coats, and boots have been officially pulled out and dusted off. My cat is not stoked about the weather -- he knows that the windows are closed, I keep forcing a sweater on him, and that melting snow makes loud noises when coming off the roof.

Winterscapes are probably some of the hardest works to create in oil in my personal opinion. It is always hard to get snow looking just right without it looking dirty or unfinished white canvas. I admire all the artists out there who have the talent to bring a snowscape to life, and showcase the wonders of the crisp winter weather.

Keep creating.

Three of my works are being shown in the group online exhibition with the Hosmer Gallery which is located within the Forbes Library of Northampton, MA. This is a community exhibit that will remain online until the library building is re-opened.

This holiday season I am offering twelve 12"x12" landscape paintings for sale. The catch is they won't be revealed until, you guessed it, the individual twelve days of Christmas!

Starting December 1, 2020 the paintings will be revealed online at 9am EST one-by-one over a twelve day span. The last work will be revealed on December 12. All paintings are oil on canvas and are framed in silver leaf floater frames. Prices include shipping, and all works are guaranteed to arrive in time for the holiday if purchased during the special.

Each work will be shared on my instagram and facebook, and a time-lapse videos of myself painting some of the works will be available on my youtube channel.

Unfortunately, I am no longer accepting 2020 holiday commissions (aka commissions that will arrive just before mid-to-late December). However, my 2021 slots are officially open but are starting to fill up fast! If you are interested in having a custom piece created and delivered in time for Valentine's Day, please reach out!

Recently I started sharing short time-lapse videos on my Instagram of myself painting works at hyper-speed to allow my audience a small glimpse into the create process behind a palette knife oil painting. Its a different experience watching my decision making process as I am actively painting.

You can watch over fourteen full length time-lapse videos on my youtube channel. Click the video below to start the playlist.
