CONSULTATIONS + COMMISSIONS
Kerstin specializes in art consulting and custom commission work.
Kerstin begins by viewing the home or commercial space. She then will make recommendations for the space, either choosing works from her current inventory or designing custom commissions.
If you live outside of the New England area, Kerstin can work from photos of your space to virtually stage works and share her custom design ideas. She enjoys working with clients to ensure their entire home is filled with beautiful, original works.
To arrange a home/business consultation, please email email@example.com.
Kerstin will talk with you through the details of what you’re looking for regarding style, color(s), and composition, and determine the size that best fits your needs. Referencing inspiration photos from her past works is always helpful!
Commission prices depend on size, style, and specifications of the individual work. Initial quotes do not include framing, tax, or shipping unless requested.
30% deposit is required to secure spot on commission list.
The Painting Process
Once the deposit is received, the painting begins!
As the piece evolves, Kerstin email with the client, sending photos to make sure it’s headed in the right direction. For large pieces, Kerstin creates a smaller-sized study to allow the client a "first look mock-up' -- this allows tweaking of the larger painting to a clients' exact liking.
All palette knife paintings are alla prima, and require quick communication from the client for changes to be made during the process. Up to three changes are allowed per project during the painting process of the final work, additional changes incur a $50 fee.
The Final Reveal
Once the painting is completed to your satisfaction, the final invoice is sent and your painting is ready for installation or shipping!
Delivery and installation is only available in select regions of the New England area.
Each commission can take up to 12 weeks to complete and prepare for shipment (it takes 6-8 weeks for a work to be dry enough to handle outside of the actual creation time).
